Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu plans to consolidate its position in India’s fiercely competitive handset market by creating products designed for the country at specific price points.
The Alibaba-backed manufacturer has just launched two budget smartphones and a premium device in India.
“Meizu’s intent and product offerings is one part of the story; whether it translates into a meaningful strategy would hold the key to whether Meizu is able to match OnePlus,” said Prabhu Ram, Head-IIG, CyberMedia Research.
