In today’s modern workplace, the workforce is intent on getting things done, anytime, anywhere. This demographic is ‘always on’, is success hungry, and has ‘arrived’. They do not settle for anything less than a premium bespoke experience.
HP Spectre Folio
In a unibody laptop sea of sameness dominated and defined by bland silver color, HP’s Spectre Folio, latest ultra-portable 2-in-1 hybrid notebook, is a stunner. It settles-in nicely. Yet, it is not for everyone.
The plush, genuine leather covered laptop is for high achievers and perfectionists. They are always on the go.
But, why leather? For starters, unlike other laptops, the Spectre Folio is pleasant and comfortable to hold. It is not cold, and one need to be worried about nicks and scratches.
Beyond the Looks
Getting a premium look on the laptop is one thing. To deliver flawless premium experience on top of that is what really matters. And, HP does not disappoint.
In fact, the Spectre Folio has one of the best convertible PC designs out there. The design language of HP Spectre Folio is exceptional, and one can move swiftly, and choose between laptop, forward and tablet positions.
The HP Spectre Folio comes with a 13.3’’ FHD IPS micro-edge WLED backlit touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The aspect ratio is a standard 16:9 with a vibrant 1920 x 1080 resolution.
To achieve a thin and light design in this radically new form factor, the Spectre Folio incorporates one of the smallest motherboards in the industry. The HP Spectre Folio comes with two processor options: the Intel Core i5-8200Y and i7-8500Y. Both processors share the same dual-core, 4MB cache and Intel UHD Graphics 615, but the Core i7-8500Y has a 200 MHz base clock and 300 MHz Turbo clock advantage. An innovative fan-less thermal design leverages the unique qualities of leather to create an experience that feels both cool and comfortable in the lap.
